The file cbmpr11.zip contains a program for IBM PC compatibles
that allows you to connect a printer with Commodore's serial interface
to a PC's parallel interface port (a LPTx port). The only hardware
required is a simple cable:

IBM Lpt port Female: CBM IEEE serial port Female:

The author of the program is Leopoldo Ghielmetti (ghielmet@di.epfl.ch).
You can use the same cable for his program x1541.exe, which allows you to
exchange data between your Commodore and PC systems by connecting your 1541
to your PC.
