Lords of Midnight - quick instructions

This is one of the best strategy war games ever made for the commodore 64.
Basically you take Luxor the Moonprince who is trying to liberate the land
of Midnight. The land of Midnight is being conquered by an enemy who I can't
recall the name of offhand. Anyway this enemy possesses a crown which produces
icefear. Icefear makes cowards out of people making them easy to conquer.
Luxor posseses the moonring which can counter the icefear and restore courage
to nearby people. With Luxor are his son Morkin, Morkin is half fey and thus
is completely immune to the icefear. Corlith the Fey is a friend of Luxor and
is at his command. Theres also a wizard with him.. err Roth something. He's
also there to help. You view the world through any of Luxor's allies, the
numbers 1 - 8 on the keyboard select which way you look. I think space or enter
moves you forward. The is a key for options such as hide which cannot be done
if you have an army with you but will stop you getting smegged. Fight which
will attack monsters in the enemy - unwise if you are tired or unarmed. Search
which is for searching towers and things for goodies. Recruit lords or armies
which is fairly self explanatory. Rest if you are tired. Attack if there is
an enemy army before you.
Pressing 0 will end your turn and go to night - Lords cannot move at night,
only the enemy can. There is a key to show all the lords and let you pick one
but I can't recall it at the moment.
Now the other lords in the game may or may not join you depending on who
is trying to recruit them and how cold the icefear is. Corlith is good for
other fey for example. Morkin cannot hide or recruit army - I'll come to him
in a minute. Travelling is slowed by terrain and if you are tired. If the ice
fear gets too cold then your lords may stop responding. If Luxor dies then
Morkin can collect his ring if he goes to where Luxor died. Now Luxors aim is
to gather an army and assault the citadel of Ugrorn if I recall correctly where
the enemy lives. Ugrorn is far to the northeast of where you start. Morkin on
the other hand is out to destroy the crown that produces the ice fear which
will end the enemies power. The crown is kept in a tower slightly northwest
of the citadel. The further Morkin goes north the more ice fear will be aimed
at him and therefore the braver the other lords will become. Do note though
that Morkin cannot destroy the crown himself. There are a couple of ways but
you can find them yourself.
